We`re thrilled to welcome our 6th cohort of leaders into the Early Childhood Educational Leadership (ECEL) programme. This marks a milestone for our leaders and a testament to the strong partnership between NFC and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).

Since its launch in 2020, ECEL has supported over 100 emerging leaders at NFC in growing their confidence, strengthening their capabilities, and building lasting connections through a strong alumni network across our organisation. Educators pursuing or planning to pursue a part-time Early Childhood degree at SUSS can also accelerate their graduation with earned credits from the programme.

A huge thank you to our partner, SUSS, and all the teams who made this possible. We look forward to welcoming another inspiring group of leaders and building a brighter future for early childhood education together.

We recently wrapped up our final Family and School Together (FAST) event of the year, and what a heartwarming celebration it was! 💛

Over 800 families from @myfirstskoolsg came together to enjoy a fun-filled day of bonding and learning through engaging activities made possible by the Bright Horizons Fund. This year, the event took on a special twist as we joined in celebrating SG60 with a vibrant carnival featuring heritage games, local snacks, and snippets of Singapore’s history shared in fun, interactive ways.

The highlight of the day? Children from our You’ve Got Talent programme — co-funded by the Singapore Maritime Officers’ Union (SMOU) @smousg — took to the stage with confidence to perform in front of their families. It was a proud moment for parents, and a joyful one for all of us to witness. 🌟

A big thank you to Mr Heng Chee How, Chairman of the Bright Horizons Fund and Deputy Secretary-General of NTUC, for joining us at the event, and to our wonderful partners OCBC, Families for Life Council, Ubisoft, and The HoloGrail, as well as our dedicated staff volunteers, for helping bring this celebration to life.

Together, we continue building strong family-school partnerships and enabling bright futures for every child.

This #SG60, we’re helping young children discover how far Singapore has come, and imagine what the future could look like, in our three official Mother Tongue languages.

Introducing our new storybook, Happy Birthday to You!, which follows a grandfather sharing memories of growing up in a kampong with his grandchildren, beautifully contrasting past and present-day Singapore.

Written by our education development specialists and printed in Chinese, Malay, and Tamil, this story bridges generations, celebrates heritage, and fosters language learning and imagination.

Bringing the story to life at our “Discovering Fun in Bilingualism!” event, our little ones from @myfirstskoolsg and @littleskoolhousesg delighted the audience with songs, dances and a special skit, “Travel Back in Time”, adapted from our newly launched storybook. 💖

Distributed across our preschools, this is part of our ongoing effort to make language learning accessible, engaging and meaningful for every child.
